Well I ground and blended up my stash of coyote glands today, it looks prity good I had to use some water to get the mix thinner so it would blend nicely. Now do you put urin on top of the blend?? Do the glands expand much when rott down?? I am afraid I may have filled my jars alittle to full if it does.

Fuzz, You could have added the urine to the glands and then blended, then you wouldn't of had to add the water. You can add the urine to the glands and give the whole thing a stir once or twice a week while aging.
About the jars being to full, just keep an eye on them; glands don't expand like aging flesh. If too full you may need to divide your material. I keep mine at no more than 2/3 full or less for any expansion, future additives, and ease of stirring.

Ok, I split the jars up into 3 jars so there is a little extra room, they are all just over 1/2 full. Now next step, how much urin do you add while mixin them, and how long will it take to rot down??? I mean till the piont where you don't have to keep venting the jars??
One other question, will ground glands break down as nicely as the ground/blended glands, the blendin was kinda hard on my cheep blender lol.

I add about 1 part urine to 6 parts glands; some add more some add less.

Until they stop making gas; 3 or 4 months under ideal conditions.
will ground glands break down as nicely as the ground/blended glands?
Yes, but may take longer the courser the grind.

Glad to help Fuzz. I will have to say, I am far from an expert, in a lot of ways I'm just learning myself.

i always just fill my jars 1/2 full of glands and just cover with urine. After aging i dump the contents into a blender(bought at a yard sale), I let the blender run for as long as necessary(been known to run 'em till they smoke), adding glycerine till it looks like gravy. Works great!!!!!! You can add other ingredients to the blender as well( lovage oil, skunk essence, asafoetida tincture, etc.)
