has anyone tryed mixing vanilla extract with maple surup? i mixed some up it smelled like it should work, but i did'nt have a chance to try it.

Haven't tried it, but should work - especially early in the season.

first off make sure the vanilla extract oil is pure as the over the counter is junk.
it will work if the oil is pure and uncut.

i just went to a local general store and bought like the 40cent vanilla extract and mixed it with Alpo dog food and maple syrup and cought like 3 coon in 2-3 days this year i just think of stuff like that during the off season then try it when season comes around....also liquid smoke, cheap bbq sause, and dog food works great basically any thing with smell...
