I like to use 330's in chanels that the beavers are usin, or put them on spillways and crossovers. Another good place I have is to find a short chanel or run and put popler bait sticks in the back right at water level and bare off some of the bark so the white shows real good, then put your 330 in the mouth of the run and block it down so they have to go threw the 330 to get to the popler. Also if you can find a run that they are usin to get trees back in to the water a 330 in the water at the mouth of the run will get them. I just started using foot holds on drowning wires this spring and they work realy good if you want to try foot holds again. Hope this helps some.

try to find a feedbed where it looks like a giant muskrat bankhole. put some poplar in there and set the 330 in front of that so they swim through it to get the poplar. i put a small glob of Dobbin's Woodchipper on one of the poplar pieces to add some smell to the set.
![[image] [image]](http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff219/davie6/330feedset.jpg) I caught 2 big beavers in this set 2 days in a row this year.

![[image] [image]](http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/WILLIAMBEVELS/water%20locations%203/009.jpg)
set this up with snare or a 220-330 in both channels were the bush forces them to split
![[image] [image]](http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/WILLIAMBEVELS/water%20locations%203/trappinglocations2006.jpg) here you can set up any were as the ditch is small but i would have at least one snare or conibear were the tree limb is barely touching the bank
![[image] [image]](http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/WILLIAMBEVELS/water%20locations%203/trappinglocations2003.jpg)
i would place a leg trap at the dam and break the corner open and then set conibears along the narrow feeder stream.these type of locations never stop producing.why the main stream is a river that runs for 100's of miles
![[image] [image]](http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/WILLIAMBEVELS/water%20locations%203/trappinglocations2004.jpg) the last picture i would place conibears or snares down the little channel and break the corner of the dam
i know i posted this on another thread but it will give you some ideas

Just to let you know on the pic with the ditch you see where the worn path in the water that is what you need to look for to know where they travel .Also check you state laws before you do anything to the dam .
